Day 1: Arrival to Cappadocia
Cappadocia is famous for its unique landscape of fairy chimneys—tall, cone-shaped rock formations—and ancient cave dwellings. This surreal region, shaped by volcanic activity and erosion, has a rich history, with early Christian communities carving churches and monasteries into the soft rock. This three days tour, starting and ending in Istanbul, gives you the perfect opportunity to experience the unique wonders of Cappadocia while offering hiking opportunities for adventure-seeking travellers.
Begin your journey with a morning flight from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökcen Airport (SAW) to Cappadocia. Upon arrival at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport, our representative will welcome you with a sign displaying your name.
Discover the remarkable Kaymakli Underground City, an extensive subterranean settlement carved into the soft volcanic rock, where ancient communities once lived in hidden chambers, connected by narrow tunnels, ventilation shafts and storage rooms designed for safety and survival. Then continue to the scenic Pigeon Valley, known for its unique rock formations and historic pigeon houses carved into the cliffs, before ending your day at Uchisar Castle, the highest point in the region offering breathtaking panoramic views of Cappadocia. After the tour, transfer to your Cappadocia hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride – Full Day Cappadocia Tour
Optional : Hot Air Balloon Ride – Early in the morning: Start your day with an optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise, offering breathtaking views over Cappadocia’s unique landscape. As you gently lift off at sunrise, you’ll witness the breathtaking views of the sun illuminating the rock formations, which creates a magical atmosphere.
Balloon transfers will be made by private vehicle. The balloon ride takes about one hour. The experience includes hotel transfers, a personalized flight certificate and a traditional champagne celebration upon landing. At the end of the balloon ride, you will be transferred back to your hotel to freshen up.
After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby.
You’ll explore Cappadocia’s stunning landscapes and historical sites more. Visit Goreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site home to ancient rock-cut churches, monasteries, and frescoes. Learn about the early Christian history of the region and admire the beautifully preserved artwork that adorns the walls of these ancient caves.
Next head to Red Valley, famous for its breathtaking views and vibrant red-coloured rock formations. Continue to Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, famous for its unique rock formations that resemble animals and shapes, like the iconic camel rock. Visit Pasabag, also known as Monk’s Valley, one of the most iconic and visited sites in Cappadocia. Pasabag is famous for its tall, mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys.
End your day in Avanos, a charming town famous for its pottery and handicrafts. Visit a local pottery workshop where you can watch artisans create beautiful pieces using traditional methods and even try your hand at the wheel. At the end of the tour transfer to your hotel and stay overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3: HIKING TOUR (Cavusin – Bozdag – Kizilcukur – Pasabaglari)
Depart early from your hotel. Our route begins in the ancient village of Cavusin, known for its rock-carved houses and churches dating back to early Christianity.
From there, we ascend Bozdag, offering panoramic views of the unique rock formations and valleys that stretch endlessly across the horizon. The trail then leads us to the mesmerizing Kizilcukur (Red Valley) — famous for its vibrant red-coloured cliffs, fairy chimneys, and ever-changing light at different times of the day. Then you’ll enjoy a refreshing picnic surrounded by nature.
We continue our hike toward Pasabaglari (Monks Valley), home to some of the region’s most iconic fairy chimneys. This guided hiking tour is perfect for nature lovers, photography enthusiasts, and anyone looking to experience Cappadocia in a truly immersive way — away from the crowds, on paths less travelled.
At the end of the hike, you’ll return to your hotel to rest and freshen up before your flight. You will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for your FLIGHT to ISTANBUL, depending on your flight time. Arrive in Istanbul airport, the end of our services.
