5 Days – Seven Churches of Revelation Tour

Day 1: Istanbul – Izmir (flight) – Smyrna – Pergamum
Flight from Istanbul Airport (or Sabiha Gökçen Airport) to Izmir. We arrange your domestic flight tickets for you. You need to check in and board the flight on your own. Our representative will meet you once you arrive in Izmir. Then depart for Smyrna; explore the ancient Agora, a bustling marketplace in Roman times and visit the Church of Saint Polycarp, one of the oldest churches in the city and a key symbol of early Christianity. After exploring Smyrna, continue to the ancient city of Pergamum, located in modern-day Bergama in Izmir Province. Once a powerful Greek city, Pergamum is renowned for its impressive Acropolis, the Temple of Trajan and its ancient theater. The visit also includes the Asklepion, one of the ancient world’s most important healing centers, dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine. After the visits, transfer to your hotel in Izmir for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Thyatira – Sardis – Philadelphia
Visit Thyatira, an ancient city known for being one of the seven churches of the Revelation, with its well-preserved basilica and historical importance. Afterwards, drive to Sardis, once the capital of the ancient kingdom of Lydia, famous for its Temple of Artemis and the royal road. Continue to Philadelphia, one of the seven churches of the Revelation, known for its rich Christian heritage. After visiting these sites, drive to Pamukkale for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Pamukkale – Hierapolis – Leodicea
Drive to Pamukkale, famous for its white travertine terraces. Explore Hierapolis, an ancient thermal city with remarkable ruins. Then, visit Leodicea, an important historical site with fascinating remains. After the visits, transfer to Kusadasi for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ephesus
Visit Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Explore the Basilica of St. John, the final resting place of the apostle. Then, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site. This site is believed to be the place where Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent her final years after the crucifixion. The house has been a pilgrimage destination for Christians and is recognized by both the Catholic and Orthodox churches. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 5: Departure – Flight to Istanbul
Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the IZMIR AIRPORT for your flight to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul airport. The end of our services.
